Slat Expander Rolls

  • Slat Expander Roll are available in wooden slat with felt covering and With aluminum slats available in 6" diameter 8"diameter & 12" diameter in any working width.

  • Particularly suitable for slow speed machines like coating cloth coating machines, Flat Bed Printing machine, artificial leather cloth before Batching machine etc.

  • The Roll is fitted with cam mechanism fitted with on bearings with left & Right slats from center. For longer width three slats are fitted and middle slats are fixed to avoid V shaped wrinkle-removing action.

  • Available with foot mounting pedestals.

Wrinkle formation at any stage of web manufacturing or its processing is inevitable. To prevent inferior quality and / or rejection of webs, wrinkles must be removed at all necessary stages.There are varieties of devices manufactured by 'KEW' for removing the wrinkles, suitable for different web materials and different processes.

Wrinkle remover device helps to :
  • Remove wrinkles

  • Achieve full width of the web Eliminate baggy center

  • Control slack edges

  • Separate slitted webs on winder

  • Try to even out lateral tension across the web width
